Forest Cathedral and Longfellow Trail

If you want one classic “big trees” hike, the Longfellow Trail is a great choice. It is a moderate hike, but the path is well-worn and easy to follow. It is one of the best ways to see the oldest trees up close.

Tionesta Lighthouse

Seneca Point

Trail’s End Restaurant

This is a true staple in Cook Forest. It is located right in the heart of the area. It feels like a classic family restaurant. The menu has a little bit of everything.

Cooksburg Cafe

You cannot visit Cook Forest without stopping here. It is located right along the river. It is famous for its huge selection of Hershey’s ice cream.

They serve 38 different flavors. We love grabbing a cone and sitting by the water. They also serve quick bites like hot dogs and wraps. It is the perfect pit stop after a canoe trip.

Farmer’s Inn Restaurant
