Cook Forest Fire Tower

The Cook Forest Fire Tower is one of the best places to get a panoramic view of Cook Forest and the Clarion River Valley. It was built in 1929 and stands nearly 90 feet tall. You can climb the stairs for a bird’s-eye view over the treetops.

We think the best time to visit is in the fall when the leaves change color. Even if you do not climb all the way to the top, the area around the base is a great spot to take photos or enjoy a picnic.
