About Owner

We are Michael and Amanda, a married couple who have grown up in the local area. We chose to raise our two children here and enjoy the outdoors as much as possible. Our two cats, dog, ducks, and chickens complete our family. In addition to renting cabins, we are in the real estate and timber management business. We also enjoy volunteering at our kids’ events and community programs. We hope you enjoy the area as much as we always have.

I couldn’t have asked for more! The accommodations were amazing. I couldn’t have asked for anything else to be able to just relax and get away from everything! Got to watch the deer as they wandered through the property. The tree house is just absolutely beautiful and couldn’t have been any cleaner. I will definitely be going back!!

This is a lovely place. It’s clean, it’s in the forest, it has plenty of room and it’s convenient to the parks. We stayed last year and wanted to return this year. We may make this a fall outing every year! Thanks to the host for her kindness and for helping us throughout our stay.

My husband and I were extremely pleased with Amanda’s Cottage in Vowinckel, PA! Her cottage is lovely, inside and out! We felt right at home, like it was waiting just for us! The high ceilings in the living area enhanced the space! The cleanliness, which is most important to us, was excellent! There are other cottages nearby but all was quiet. The area feels quite safe. At the rear of the cottage, there is a nice covered porch with rockers and a grill. A grass yard with a fire pit backs up to the woods. Amanda was a perfect hostess! She quickly and thoroughly replied to all my inquiries! The whole process was smooth from booking to departure! It would surely be a treat to stay at any of Amanda’s properties! Thank you immensely Amanda!

The property was absolutely gorgeous. Amanda was always available by phone but not intrusive. Everything was clean, the shower was clean and comfortable. The grab bar was easily acquired if needed(we’re both in our 70’s). What we both appreciated was the forest theme with bear and squirrel decorations and pics. The location was conveniently located near our conference in Cooksburg and Sigel. I will request this beautiful cottage in the 2026 Spring Conference. 5 Stars! Don betz
