Amanda’s cabin was very nice, very clean & decorated nicely. A very nice covered back porch & outside fire ring that we didn’t get to use because of rain. Comfortable beds. Everything was very nice!!! Maybe recommend a broom & dustpan for the cabin. We loved our stay & looking forward to staying another time.

Just wish we had access to no fan in the livingroom, high speed if the light was on lol but also understand issues of people breaking the long switches.

Amanda’s place was clean and cozy. The bed was very comfortable. It was nice to be so close to Cook Forest. Our only suggestion would be to have coffee and tea available for our use.
The cottage was jusy how the pictures showed an extremely relaxing and clean.
Clean, easy to find, close to the park. Other than the location not much to get excited about in regards to the cabin. If you’re looking for a clean, small cabin close to Cook Forest then this is the place. After all the “fees” it’s a bit expensive for a small cabin.
This is our to go to place in the winter when we close up our camp for the winter. Love staying here. Always cozy and comfy. Enjoy all the surroundings. We will always be back!!!! Amanda is an awesome host!
Very happy with stay the host and the cabin only complaint was the third bed is a pull out sofa and one of the guest’s said it was not comfortable. Aside from that amazing place highly recommend.

We enjoyed our stay at Hemlock Haven. We are frequent VRBO travelers as our son is in the Navy and we travel to see him as much as we can. There were limited baking dishes in the kitchen and a personal sized skillet, so if you’re planning to cook, you may want to pack some supplies from home. Other than that the place was exactly what I had expected. It was very clean which is a huge priority. Check in/check out was super simple! If you’re looking to hike around Cook Forest it was a great place to stay!

Amanda’s place is a lovely cabin. It is well kept and clean. It is small, but great for 2 people. If you are biking is located near the Rt 66 bike trail .

The home was very comfortable and the decor was great. Communication with the host, Amanda was very easy and she answered right back. I wasn’t crazy about the surveillance cameras but I understand protecting your property and security. Overall it was very relaxing, which is what I was looking for
What a cute spot and perfect for our girls’ camping getaway! Clean, comfy, quiet. Barely saw neighbors, so many little spots nearby to get wood and fresh produce, spacious kitchen for us chefs!! Would definitely rent from this host again!

If you go, take dish towels & your favorite cookware from home (there were pans there but not the best – I’m a picky cook.). Also toilet tissue – We were allotted one roll for our stay. More coffee mugs would be needed for more than 2 guests. And a few wine glasses would be nice as well. The beds were so comfy!!!
The cabin was clean & smelled so fresh & welcoming!! Lots of fresh bath towels.
A broom on the back porch would be nice – I would’ve swept the porch. But understamd, you are in a cabin in a wooded area so dust is to be expected. The storm door glass needs a good cleaning as it had lots of handprints & smudges so if the inside door was open & the sun shining through the glass, it wasn’t a good look.
All in all I give 5 ⭐️

This place was amazing, felt right at home. Had everything me and my buddies needed for the one night stay, Amanda even let me know about the place next door so more of my buddies could enjoy the trip! Not a single bad thing I can say about this place, other cottages are very close but the people to the left of us didn’t bother us. Didn’t even see them besides them getting home, house is more soundproof then I thought. My buddies were showering with pretty loud music so I went outside to see if the neighbors could hear and I couldn’t hear anything.

We had a great week at this cabin. It was my husband and I (and our college-age son joined us for a few days). It was clean and had all the conveniences that we wanted. The location was perfect, being just minutes and a beautiful drive to Cooks Forest. We even spent some time exploring the Allegheny Forest. Amanda was easy to contact and had thought of everything we needed for our stay. It was a very comfortable, relaxing, quiet place to stay. We would love to visit again.
Maple Creek Cabin is a comfortable and clean home. We did not cook there but kitchen had basic items to use if cooking . There is no table to sit at if eating there. There is a more of a short bar type area with seats. Coffee pot and Keurig coffee machine for coffee drinkers.
Look up above the stove for the wifi password. I did not see it right away.
The location was very quiet with houses on both sides.
It was a comfortable home to stay in and would recommend it for a getaway in this beautiful area.
Loved this place. We stayed here for the weekend of the 4th for a wedding. It was peaceful and not far away from all the attractions Cook Forest has. We absolutely loved this place it was cozy, and clean. We spent a lot of time around the fire just enjoying the peaceful evenings. We cant wait to stay here again. Planning to book again this fall.

Amanda is a great host
The cabin is situated on a very secluded area. It is quiet and serene. The cabin is super clean and cozy. Exactly what you need for a getaway in the middle of the woods. We stopped here to sleep over night on our way from south Jersey to Lake Erie for the Eclipse. It was wonderful stay, we felt right at home and the backyard has a great fire pit with the woods right behind your chair. It is very peaceful and quiet. If you are coming for a long time I recommend bringing groceries or grilling supplies. We were only staying one night and went out to eat locally. Everyone is very friendly in the town and lots of beautiful views of nature.
Clean property, well cared for and clean. We also appreciate the small things such as coffee and microwaveable popcorn.
Would definitely visit again.

This was the nicest vacation home in this area that I’ve experienced in over 40 years.
Positive: Outstanding vacation home — well appointed, modern and very clean. This home had everything. We wanted to nothing. Grill, TV, firepit, two coffee pots, dishes, silverware, paper towels, sheets & blankets, lots of pillows, etc. Only 15 minutes from stores and a gas station, less than 1 mile from the Route 66 bike trail, and just a short drive to Cook Forest and Clear Creek State Parks.

What a great place to stay! I will definitely be coming back to this property again in the near future. Very clean, tidy, and organized, just what I like to see from a rental unit. If you book, you will have a great time! Enjoy!
Amanda was a very great host! I forgot to sign the rent agreement and was still responsive as late as 11 pm to help us get into the home. Stay here!!!!
Amanda’s place was just as described. It rained most of our stay but we still enjoyed the beauty of the surrounding area while driving around the back roads. Can not wait to visit again in the summer/fall,

We enjoyed our visit here. We felt safe, the cabin was relatively clean. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was nice, but I would not call it a well-stocked kitchen. I would advise future renters to come prepared. We love Cook Forest and the short drive to visit was perfect. There were neighbors, but they didn’t disturb us and it was a nice area.

We were even more impressed once we we’re actually there. It felt like “home” immediately. We had never rented like that so did not know what to expect. I already knew I was not unhappy. My sister and I spent three days here. The place is clean and uncluttered. If you plan to cook, you may want to bring a cast iron skillet and your own staples. The place description says air conditioning but it is a small window AC in one of the bedrooms. There are ceiling fans in kitchen and living room but not the bedrooms. You may want to bring a fan for each bedroom you plan to use. There are occupied houses/cabins on both sides and across the road but the neighbors were quiet. The Forest Nook restaurant, a short drive down the road, is handy and the food is good. Check out their little gift shop. We were able to easily get to hiking trails in Cook and Clear Creek and Allegheny forest. Our host, Amanda, was a good communicator and easy to reach by phone/text.I would stay here again.
This property was terrific. Not too far from anything and very clean. Bedrooms were nice and offered a nice getaway for us at the end of the summer.
This was the perfect little cottage for a getaway for me and my husband. It’s very clean and has everything you need for a couple night stay. The area is very quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely do it again!
The cabin is new and very clean. It is the perfect size for a small family to stay and the location is ideal for access to the state park. I would love to rent again when I return to the area
Really close to both Cook Forest and Allegheny National Forest. The house has been nicely updated and was a nice stay. Both pods and regular coffee were available, and everything works well. Checking in and out we’re easy.

All rooms were comfortable and the single air con unit in the bedroom, in tandem with the fan provided was ample to cool the small home.
Great water temp and pressure in the bathroom made for well deserved hot showers after a forest frolic.
We didn’t eat out much but noticed lots of restaurant shacks within a short drive. Good to know for next time. The fire pit was the perfect spot to cook up a real campfire meal 😋

Great little cottage at the edge of the woods. Easy drive into Cooks Forest for outdoor adventure. There were several local restaurants that looked great. Unfortunately they didn’t have gluten free food options so we had drive a bit further to eat out. Having the kitchen was great because we were able to cook food for ourselves after a trip to Walmart. Kitchen had enough basic stuff for general cooking and was great. Very clean. We enjoyed our stay
The cabin is in a beautiful location and had everything I needed for me, my wife, and 3 young children. Amanda was very responsive to all messages and had great recommendations for local restaurants.

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy cottage. The fire pit was a big bonus. It was a serene autumn get away to be in nature and recharge. A slight hiccup at checkout that was resolved quickly by Airbnb.

Great property and location for visit to Cooks and Allegheny National Forest. Very clean and comfortable. Hot shower was perfect after long day of biking or hiking. We didn’t use the kitchen, but seemed to be well equipped. Would return again if in the area.
The place was so cute and the host is great. We were pleasantly surprised just how close it was to Tuck’d Inn Farms. Highly recommend this place either for a weekend getaway to Cook Forest or a place to stay after a wedding as the proximity to the venue was just what we were looking for.

Amanda is a great host. The listing is accurate and precise. The house was very clean and well kept. The location is great for visiting Cooks Forest, less then 10 miles to all activities (river float, fun center, little stores, restaurants). We were a group of 3 older women that had never been to the area and we had NO problems. I highly recommend this house and Amanda.
We had a great time. Check in and check out was easy. The place was super clean, had everything we needed, and is in a great location close to everything. Amanda communicated everything that we needed to know prior to our arrival and she checked to see how are stay was prior to our departure. Could not ask for a better host or a better place. We were very happy with our accommodations! The cabin was clean and very lovely and had everything you could need. The back yard and fire pit were especially enjoyable! We would go back!
We had a very relaxing stay at this cozy cottage in cooks forest. It has all the basics, but plan ahead if you expect to cook all your meals here. You may not have all the utensils & essentials for cooking effectively on the grill/fire/stove. It’d also be convenient if this unit had access to a washer/dryer. Overall, given the price and location I would recommend this place for couples and small families looking for an affordable getaway.

Need a dishwasher since guests are expected to wash dishes. It's not sanitary and we have to rely on someone else actually hand washing the dishes prior to us. You never know if the people that stayed before you just rinsed them off and called it a day. At least have a drying rack and drying towels if we are expected to do the dishes. Also the rules posted on the refrigerator contradicted instructions that were communicated through email/text. But overall 4/5. Amanda was very nice and the property was clean.

The property was as pictured and was in a good location to enjoy the beautiful park. The fire pit in the back yard was a great place to enjoy the outdoors. House was clean but lacking a few things to make the stay comfortable. No dressers in the bedrooms so any personal items had to be left on the floor. Seating in the main area was not comfortable.
The host contacted me twice in advance to offer 2 hour early check in for an additional $25. I thought that was in poor taste, as I have stayed at many VRBOs and if we were able to check in early the host never charged extra. For me, that just put a negative vibe right from the start.

Loved this place. We stayed here for the weekend of the 4th for a wedding. It was peaceful and not far away from all the attractions Cook Forest has. We absolutely loved this place it was cozy, and clean. We spent a lot of time around the fire just enjoying the peaceful evenings. We cant wait to stay here again. Planning to book again this fall.

The cabin is situated on a very secluded area. It is quiet and serene. The cabin is super clean and cozy. Exactly what you need for a getaway in the middle of the woods. We stopped here to sleep over night on our way from south Jersey to Lake Erie for the Eclipse. It was wonderful stay, we felt right at home and the backyard has a great fire pit with the woods right behind your chair. It is very peaceful and quiet. If you are coming for a long time I recommend bringing groceries or grilling supplies. We were only staying one night and went out to eat locally. Everyone is very friendly in the town and lots of beautiful views of nature.

This was the nicest vacation home in this area that I've experienced in over 40 years.
Positive: Outstanding vacation home -- well appointed, modern and very clean. This home had everything. We wanted to nothing. Grill, TV, firepit, two coffee pots, dishes, silverware, paper towels, sheets & blankets, lots of pillows, etc. Only 15 minutes from stores and a gas station, less than 1 mile from the Route 66 bike trail, and just a short drive to Cook Forest and Clear Creek State Parks.

What a great place to stay! I will definitely be coming back to this property again in the near future. Very clean, tidy, and organized, just what I like to see from a rental unit. If you book, you will have a great time! Enjoy!

Amanda was a very great host! I forgot to sign the rent agreement and was still responsive as late as 11 pm to help us get into the home. Stay here!!!!

Amanda's place was just as described. It rained most of our stay but we still enjoyed the beauty of the surrounding area while driving around the back roads. Can not wait to visit again in the summer/fall,

We enjoyed our visit here. We felt safe, the cabin was relatively clean. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was nice, but I would not call it a well-stocked kitchen. I would advise future renters to come prepared. We love Cook Forest and the short drive to visit was perfect. There were neighbors, but they didn’t disturb us and it was a nice area.

We were even more impressed once we we’re actually there. It felt like “home” immediately. We had never rented like that so did not know what to expect. I already knew I was not unhappy. We were so so close to everything of cooks forest. Especially after long activities a “home” was lovely to come home to. Much needed

My sister and I spent three days here. The place is clean and uncluttered. If you plan to cook, you may want to bring a cast iron skillet and your own staples. The place description says air conditioning but it is a small window AC in one of the bedrooms. There are ceiling fans in kitchen and living room but not the bedrooms. You may want to bring a fan for each bedroom you plan to use. There are occupied houses/cabins on both sides and across the road but the neighbors were quiet. The Forest Nook restaurant, a short drive down the road, is handy and the food is good. Check out their little gift shop. We were able to easily get to hiking trails in Cook and Clear Creek and Allegheny forest. Our host, Amanda, was a good communicator and easy to reach by phone/text.I would stay here again.

This was the perfect little cottage for a getaway for me and my husband. It’s very clean and has everything you need for a couple night stay. The area is very quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed our stay and would definitely do it again!

The cabin is new and very clean. It is the perfect size for a small family to stay and the location is ideal for access to the state park. I would love to rent again when I return to the area

Really close to both Cook Forest and Allegheny National Forest. The house has been nicely updated and was a nice stay. Both pods and regular coffee were available, and everything works well. Checking in and out we're easy.

A quaint little country home. We had everything we needed to enjoy a lovely weekend in the forest.
Close proximity to our friends camp, we were able to walk in and surprise them!
All rooms were comfortable and the single air con unit in the bedroom, in tandem with the fan provided was ample to cool the small home.
Great water temp and pressure in the bathroom made for well deserved hot showers after a forest frolic.
We didn’t eat out much but noticed lots of restaurant shacks within a short drive. Good to know for next time. The fire pit was the perfect spot to cook up a real campfire meal 😋
Overall a reasonable barter. Would definitely stay again.

Great little cottage at the edge of the woods. Easy drive into Cooks Forest for outdoor adventure. There were several local restaurants that looked great. Unfortunately they didn't have gluten free food options so we had drive a bit further to eat out. Having the kitchen was great because we were able to cook food for ourselves after a trip to Walmart. Kitchen had enough basic stuff for general cooking and was great. Very clean. We enjoyed our stay

The cabin is in a beautiful location and had everything I needed for me, my wife, and 3 young children. Amanda was very responsive to all messages and had great recommendations for local restaurants.

Very clean and cute place! The decor is really nice and all the essentials are provided. I couldn’t tell in the photos, but The house sits just off of the road and neighboring houses are close by which eliminated the “in the woods” feeling. Overall a great place and would recommend!

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy cottage. The fire pit was a big bonus. It was a serene autumn get away to be in nature and recharge. A slight hiccup at checkout that was resolved quickly by Airbnb.

Great property and location for visit to Cooks and Allegheny National Forest. Very clean and comfortable. Hot shower was perfect after long day of biking or hiking. We didn't use the kitchen, but seemed to be well equipped. Would return again if in the area.

The place was so cute and the host is great. We were pleasantly surprised just how close it was to Tuck’d Inn Farms. Highly recommend this place either for a weekend getaway to Cook Forest or a place to stay after a wedding as the proximity to the venue was just what we were looking for.

Amanda is a great host. The listing is accurate and precise. The house was very clean and well kept. The location is great for visiting Cooks Forest, less then 10 miles to all activities (river float, fun center, little stores, restaurants). We were a group of 3 older women that had never been to the area and we had NO problems. I highly recommend this house and Amanda.

We had a great time. Check in and check out was easy. The place was super clean, had everything we needed, and is in a great location close to everything. Amanda communicated everything that we needed to know prior to our arrival and she checked to see how are stay was prior to our departure. Could not ask for a better host or a better place. Will definitely book with Amanda again. 5 stars

We had a very relaxing stay at this cozy cottage in cooks forest. It has all the basics, but plan ahead if you expect to cook all your meals here. You may not have all the utensils & essentials for cooking effectively on the grill/fire/stove. It’d also be convenient if this unit had access to a washer/dryer. Overall, given the price and location I would recommend this place for couples and small families looking for an affordable getaway.

The cabin was awesome. Camp fire first night then weather turned bad. That's when the covered back porch was a great place to hang out Amanda knows the drill & was quick to respond. Great location for area activities. Highly recommend--book it now!
