I was just in the area for a quick weekend trip and was glad to have rented this place. It’s a nice, clean, comfortable, and quiet spot right on the edge of Cook Forest State Park. I normally like to be out exploring on my trips, but when it turned out to be a pretty rainy weekend, I enjoyed having a comfortable spot to relax in. Definitely a place I will keep in mind for future trips!

Located right next to Cooks Forest! My husband and I wanted to get away and this was perfect.
This cottage was so clean and welcoming. The beds and furniture were comfortable too. And it’s literally minutes from cook forest, and about 25 from Allegheny National Forest. Great location and great price!
Cabin was conveniently located for stay near family in the area. Everything was neat and tidy. Had everything we needed and easy to find. Would definitely stay again.
Cleanest rental I’ve stayed at. Second time I’ve stayed here. Perfect for 2-3 people.
The cottage was perfect for my husband and I to celebrate a 30 year anniversary for a little get away.
Extremely easy check in and we appreciate Amanda “leaving the porch light on for us” as we arrived late on Friday night after work! We stayed for 4 nights and wish we could have stayed longer! The cottage was extremely clean, comfy bed and just right for two!
It was so easy for our visits to Cook Forest State Park and Clear Creek State Park. We also traveled about an hour away to Kinzu Bridge State Park, which was an easy drive thru towns of Marienville and Kane.
Amanda provided many local stores and restaurants too which was greatly appreciated! Loved Leepers Red & White Market!
We spent most of our time in the parks till dusk, so most of our meals were at the cottage. We didn’t cook, but it appeared all the kitchen items were there if anyone wants to cook.
We would definitely stay here again and appreciate all the “comforts of home”! Thanks a bunch, Amanda!

This place was perfect. size was perfect, location was perfect, inside was perfect. I have nothing bad to say and will definitely book again for future trips.
Great location near Allegheny National Forest. Convenient entrance to the house using an electronic code. Host was super responsive when the lightbulbs needed to be replaced. Overall great experience. The only negative I would say is be aware there is only one window air conditioner in one of the two bedrooms.
I rented Amanda’s place for my sister & her boyfriend and they absolutely loved it!

This little cottage was adorable. Its so close to the forest, to tuck’d inn farms, and more. The cottage is exactly as described and is impeccably clean. My only complaint is the air conditioner is the main bedroom is extremely loud.

This was a great place to stay for a few days while we visited my parents who recently moved to the area. Everything was clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay again when we visit the area and recommend it to others. I’ve also recommended it to my parents if anyone visiting them needs a place to stay.

The camp is located in a great spot for hunting the National Forest and State Game Lands 29 are all a short drive.
The inside has all you need for a fantastic stay.
The inside is warm, welcoming and exceptionally clean.

This cabin is located in a beautiful setting. Extremely clean and well maintained. All accommodations are met for the guest to thoroughly enjoy their stay. Will most certainly rent again in future endeavors.

Just 6 miles to the main center of cooks forest trails. Very comfortable beds. In another season or temperature would have loved to sit in back porch looking into woods or using the fire pit. Even a hammock (favorite!)
The heating worked very well. We didn’t use the kitchen to cook but seemed well stocked. Recommend the cozy cottage

Perfect place to stay while we explored the area and visited with friends. You could tell the stove was solid and responsive and everything we cooked on it was finished efficiently. The decoration was cute and we loved the salt and pepper bear. It was nice to look outside the window and see the forest. We only sat on the porch briefly but the chairs out there were very comfy. Really nice cabin and great location.

The House / Cabin was very nice, clean, and it gave us the privacy we wanted. However, you may want to bring some extra cooking supplies. Overall, it fit our needs very well, we may end up being repeat customers.

They had Adirondack lounge chairs for the fire pit and Adirondack rockers on the back porch.

I loved this cabin so much! I was obsessed with the bear decor and it was everywhere! I kept going omg there’s another one! Carpet was so soft I could’ve lived on it. Place was the perfect size, the central air made it so comfy I barely needed the AC on. The massage chair was a welcome surprise. Bed was comfy and glad there was a super soft blanket to place on the covers( I’m weird I don’t sleep inside beds bc I get too hot and I move around a lot so I just lay on top and use a bed blanket). House was spotless. Good restaurants and shops only 5-10 min away. Beautiful grounds. I could go on forever. Glad to see Amanda has several properties in different areas of PA and if I’m in that area I will definitely book. Made my bday weekend perfect!

This cottage is charming and well appointed. You’ll feel at home! The surroundings are beautiful and so peaceful. Down the road is Cooks Forest, a restaurant, rafting rentals, and the charming small town store that has an old fashioned ice cream area. This area is beautiful and charming, I’ll come back again next year!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cottage. The bedrooms were very comfortable, the kitchen well appointed and back porch perfect for outdoor meals. We enjoyed bonfires every night in the very nice back yard. It was a great home base for hiking in Cook Forest!

We enjoyed our stay at Amanda’s cozy cabin. The place was clean and as advertised. We were there at peak season for fall leaf color. We enjoyed hiking inTom’s Run, the swinging bridge, a bit of Longfellow trail, and Clear Creek State Park. We had 2 people with temporary physical limitations so hiking was on easy and short trails.
Perfect place to stay if you want to visit Cook forest! Its about 1.5-2miles from Cooks forest. We will stay here again next time we visit cooks forest!

We really loved the Christian decor, subtle, not overbaring. The size was perfect for us. We did notice the one next door that must be yours, too. We noticed the decor because we are Christians and were on a girl retreat to share the Lord and enjoy the fire Peggy made in the evening and the big antique store. Montana cafe has excellent food. It was everything we needed and more than our expectations. If my hubby agrees we want to do this yearly and would like to add an extra day. Time went too quickly. We came to the area to explore Cook Forest and Amanda’s Cozy Cottage was lovely for that purpose. An easy drive from most of the parks attractions, the house itself was clean and convenient. We were very happy that the kitchen and living room had such a wide doorway so some of us could be in the kitchen cooking and the others in the living room playing a game and we still all felt together. All in all a wonderful time. Our one note would be, if you plan on doing any extensive cooking, you might need more gear, like a good chopping knife or a baking sheet. Amanda is an amazing host and was quick to answer any questions we had, or if we had any issues
The house is so clean and perfect for a little getaway! The location is also ideal- just a few minutes from lots of restaurants and state park activities!

Amanda was a great host. Her response time is so quick and she was able to accommodate us with an early check in! The place is so cute and exactly as shown in the pictures. We came into town for a wedding so we didn’t have much time to explore the area but if we ever come back, we’ll definitely be staying with Amanda again!
We did have some grasshopper friends in the master bedroom the first night. We believe they were getting in by the window with the AC unit in it. We tucked some towels around the unit so it was in there really snug and we didn’t have any issues the rest of the stay!
My husband and I spent 4 nights at Amanda’s cabin. It is very nicely decorated and furnished. The mini fridge is very tiny! You must bring a cooler. Also, what isn’t stated, is that there is no stove. However. we used the crackpot and the small convection over. Overall very nice place: clean, easy to get to, and secure. There are neighbors on both sides. Would recommend for shorter stays due only to the lack of appliances. Amanda was quick to respond when we reached out to her. I would recommend this cabin!

Such a nice place to stay in! It was clean, comfortable and adorable, and the location was just perfect. Amanda was very quick in answering my questions. Even though there is no oven/stove, the kitchen is well equipped with a toaster, large toaster/oven, crockpot, microwave, two coffee makers, and an electric burner. There is also a small fridge. The master bedroom had air conditioning. However, the evenings were cool and I didn’t need it. My only wish is that the wi-fi didn’t keep cutting in and out. It was frustrating, but I was still able to read my email and do whatever I needed to do. It was so nice to have such a cozy house all to myself.
The cabin was very clean and cozy for our family of three. It was close to hiking and many other family activities in Cook’s Forest. Amanda was very friendly and quick to respond to messages. Everything was as expected from the listing. There is a mini refrigerator so we were glad that we brought our large cooler to keep the food that wouldn’t fit. (We were there for three days and prepared most of our meals at the cabin.) The shower was large and had amazing water pressure. There was also a number of outdoor chairs to use on the back porch or around the campfire. The backyard was not particularly private. It was close to Amanda’s other rental property on one side and the residential neighbor on the other. This is about as private as you can get for this area at such a reasonable price so we were happy. The house was supplied with everything we needed for our stay! We highly recommend if you are visiting the area.

Not equipped for disabilities. The toilet was small and very low to the ground with no grab bars. No extra supplies on hand. Utility closet was not locked so we did try to find extra toilet paper. Very dusty and bad for allergies. We did have to remove a few cobwebs in the doorway to the kitchen. Shower liner was a little short and easy to knock out and get the floor wet.
The beds were comfortable and the pillows were good too. Kitchen wares were stocked nicely. The fridge was clean and cold. The home was decorated with forest animals, it was cute. Being on a main road way, it was easy access to the shops and restaurants. The recliner in the living room was a nice surprise. Being able to get a massage after a busy day was wonderful! We didn't use the stove, but it was very nice.
Would I stay here again? Yes, but I know to bring toilet paper. This cottage was easy access for my friend, her home was only 4 minutes away.

Again. I alrready replied to Amanda's email, but here goes AGAIN.
l found the cause of the infestation; two Captains Wafers (thin saltines). One behind the master bedroon door and one behind the lounge chair in the front room.
And, with two TVs in the house it would have been nice to watch television once in a while.
Forgive my brashness, but I honestly feel some sort of rebate is due.

I loved this cabin so much! I was obsessed with the bear decor and it was everywhere! I kept going omg there’s another one! Carpet was so soft I could’ve lived on it. Place was the perfect size, the central air made it so comfy I barely needed the AC on. The massage chair was a welcome surprise. Bed was comfy and glad there was a super soft blanket to place on the covers( I’m weird I don’t sleep inside beds bc I get too hot and I move around a lot so I just lay on top and use a bed blanket). House was spotless. Good restaurants and shops only 5-10 min away. Beautiful grounds. I could go on forever. Glad to see Amanda has several properties in different areas of PA and if I’m in that area I will definitely book. Made my bday weekend perfect!

This cottage is charming and well appointed. You’ll feel at home! The surroundings are beautiful and so peaceful. Down the road is Cooks Forest, a restaurant, rafting rentals, and the charming small town store that has an old fashioned ice cream area. This area is beautiful and charming, I’ll come back again next year!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cottage. The bedrooms were very comfortable, the kitchen well appointed and back porch perfect for outdoor meals. We enjoyed bonfires every night in the very nice back yard. It was a great home base for hiking in Cook Forest!

We enjoyed our stay at Amanda’s cozy cabin. The place was clean and as advertised. We were there at peak season for fall leaf color. We enjoyed hiking inTom’s Run, the swinging bridge, a bit of Longfellow trail, and Clear Creek State Park. We had 2 people with temporary physical limitations so hiking was on easy and short trails.

We really loved the Christian decor, subtle, not overbaring. The size was perfect for us. We did notice the one next door that must be yours, too. We noticed the decor because we are Christians and were on a girl retreat to share the Lord and enjoy the fire Peggy made in the evening and the big antique store. Montana cafe has excellent food. It was everything we needed and more than our expectations. If my hubby agrees we want to do this yearly and would like to add an extra day. Time went too quickly. We came to the area to explore Cook Forest and Amanda's Cozy Cottage was lovely for that purpose. An easy drive from most of the parks attractions, the house itself was clean and convenient. We were very happy that the kitchen and living room had such a wide doorway so some of us could be in the kitchen cooking and the others in the living room playing a game and we still all felt together. All in all a wonderful time. Our one note would be, if you plan on doing any extensive cooking, you might need more gear, like a good chopping knife or a baking sheet. Amanda is an amazing host and was quick to answer any questions we had, or if we had any issues

Amanda was a great host. Her response time is so quick and she was able to accommodate us with an early check in! The place is so cute and exactly as shown in the pictures. We came into town for a wedding so we didn’t have much time to explore the area but if we ever come back, we’ll definitely be staying with Amanda again!
We did have some grasshopper friends in the master bedroom the first night. We believe they were getting in by the window with the AC unit in it. We tucked some towels around the unit so it was in there really snug and we didn’t have any issues the rest of the stay!

My husband and I spent 4 nights at Amanda's cabin. It is very nicely decorated and furnished. The mini fridge is very tiny! You must bring a cooler. Also, what isn't stated, is that there is no stove. However. we used the crackpot and the small convection over. Overall very nice place: clean, easy to get to, and secure. There are neighbors on both sides. Would recommend for shorter stays due only to the lack of appliances. Amanda was quick to respond when we reached out to her. I would recommend this cabin!

Such a nice place to stay in! It was clean, comfortable and adorable, and the location was just perfect. Amanda was very quick in answering my questions. Even though there is no oven/stove, the kitchen is well equipped with a toaster, large toaster/oven, crockpot, microwave, two coffee makers, and an electric burner. There is also a small fridge. The master bedroom had air conditioning. However, the evenings were cool and I didn't need it. My only wish is that the wi-fi didn't keep cutting in and out. It was frustrating, but I was still able to read my email and do whatever I needed to do. It was so nice to have such a cozy house all to myself.

The cabin was very clean and cozy for our family of three. It was close to hiking and many other family activities in Cook's Forest. Amanda was very friendly and quick to respond to messages. Everything was as expected from the listing. There is a mini refrigerator so we were glad that we brought our large cooler to keep the food that wouldn't fit. (We were there for three days and prepared most of our meals at the cabin.) The shower was large and had amazing water pressure. There was also a number of outdoor chairs to use on the back porch or around the campfire. The backyard was not particularly private. It was close to Amanda's other rental property on one side and the residential neighbor on the other. This is about as private as you can get for this area at such a reasonable price so we were happy. The house was supplied with everything we needed for our stay! We highly recommend if you are visiting the area.

What a great little cottage - absolutely perfect for our weekend getaway. Very conveniently located to both Allegheny National Forest and Cook Forest. Several restaurants are close by and the location is easy to find. The cottage was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed for our stay.

The Cozy Cabin is a great place to stay! Everything was perfect! It was very clean and comfy. It's also a great location if your hiking in the Allegheny State Forest or Cooks Forest.

Comfortable and quaint cottage
Positive: Good location near good hikes. The cottage was not fancy but was a good value and had everything we needed. Not in the woods, but backs up to a wooded area and has a nice deck.
